Mission Beach

We finally got out on "That Reef". We had a beautiful calm day- (though Curtis still managed to be sea sick on board)

Max decided to go snorkeling (without the snorkel). Wow! what fantastic fishlife we saw. Heaps of parrot fish, clown fish and all other colourful fish- no Dory fish though.

This beauty is Wally the Hunp Headed Maori Wrasse- (thought you might like the name Aunty Jo)

Sports Day at Misssion was a big day out. Georgie was in the final for high jump. She one the prize for the biggest cheer squad with Uncle Pete, Aunty Jo, Shea Shea and Jadin all there on the day

Curtis also loves the water . He took himself for a swim ( with the leeches) at Lacey Creek

Hi Everyone. Georgie is asleep so I will do the blog today
Hope you are having fun in the holidays. We have loved our holidays in FNQ. We had a week in Port Douglas/Cairns/ Cape Trib, back in the van for a week. We were all having a ball but were also keen to get back to our gorgeous little house for a relaxing week at home. Lots of walks and bike rides on the beach. Justine paid us a visit in the second week which was great. Georgie loved her new straight hair- Thanks to resident stylist Justine .

Another sunrise on Mission Beach out the front of our house. Curtis is still keeping us on our toes but at least now we are not waking up the whole caravan park with his early morning antics

Buddha Max is loving his yoga ( at school) and gymnastics (after school). Great for his focus. We caught him pracitising meditation. Bless!

Max and I On our first day of school at Mission Beach. We were still at the caravan park. I am in grade three and Max is in Prep. My teacher is Miss B and I have her daughter Miss Scott on Thursdays. MaX'S TEACHER IS mISS tINK. sHE IS COOL. Max never has to do any work. We don't have to wear shoes to school!
On Max's second day the preppies went on a pirate excursion to the beach. Their was a fight with pirates who stole their treasure . It was Mr Robbo. He is the principal At the beach there is a sign that says there was a crocodile spotted there. It was two weeks ago.

We have a new house. I have my own room and a queen bed. I don't have to share with Max adn lego anymore. Our house is near the beach. My favurite bit is the hammock on the deck. I read five books in there on the weekend.

We stayed In a hotel in Townsville. There is a cool water park on the Strand. Mx adn I roller bladed all the way . Curtis was sick at the rockpool. Max got to go in the cockpit on the plane. The captain let him sit in his seat

Max went to a castle with Cobb and dad. Mum and Anna and I went shopping

Ann a and Cob came with us to the waterfalls. we also went to an isalnd and had a picnic. We had sleep overs in their cabin adn played spoons. Cob took us to monsters versus Aliens. Cob wrestled max all the time

I went on all the extreme rides at Dreamworld and White Water world. The claw was my favourite.It had zero gravity. Mum went on it too and she wanted to cry she hated it so much.

We left White Water World and went straight to Sophie's school in Brisbane. She had no idea we were coming! We spent the weekend with them. It was Thomas's birthday, her dad's and her mum's birthday , and mothers day all on one weekend!

At Coffs arbour I got to swim with the Dolphins. Her name was Calamity, she got saved from the wild because she was tangled up in fishing line. I got to do tricks with her and I brushed her teeth. It was cool !
